Hi, my name is Angela. I’m the manager and owner of Co-operative Play and Learn. I’ve always been passionate about childcare, so I went ahead and studied to achieve a diploma in Childcare and Education. I’m also qualified as a First Aider with the relevant safeguarding qualifications. I’ve always been eager to increase my knowledge and skills surrounding childcare, working alongside speech and language therapists, early years teachers and health visitors all to improve my awareness and knowledge of child's development. I’ve worked in multiple other environments such as private day nurseries and schools, as well as working with Barnardos.

Hi there! I’m Debbie, the deputy manager, SENCO and our Safeguarding Lead here at Co-operative Play and Learn. I’ve had a qualification from the national nursery examination board (NNEB for short) since 1991 and like our proud owner, also have all the relevant qualifications in First Aid and Food Hygiene. I’ve had experience working in private day nurseries with children 0-8 years. I have worked alongside many professionals including Speech and Language, Health Visitors, Social Workers and foundation Stage teachers.

Hi! My name is Neelam and I’m a part-time preschool assistant here at Co-operative Play and Learn. After working in some private nurseries with children 0-5 years and also having some experience as a room leader, I absolutely love working alongside the other staff where we’ve created a kind and gentle learning environment where the children can thrive and grow.

Hi my name is Sarah! I work as a full-time preschool assistant. I've previously worked in private nursery's both 0-5 and 0-11 years. I also have my First Aid, Healthy Teeth and Food Hygiene certificates. I've been working in childcare since I was 16 and I absolutely love working with children.

Hello! My name is Tracy and I’m a volunteer/bank member of staff at Co-operative Play and Learn. Being passionate about what I do, I studied hard and achieved a Level 3 NVQ in childcare! I’m First Aid and Food Hygiene qualified meaning I can save the day at the drop of a hat. I’ve had experience with children with SEN in various settings for the last 20 years and I love what I do.

Hiya! My name is Amanda, but you can call me Manda :) I work 32 hours a week, Monday-Friday. I have been working in childcare for 12 years, with children aged 6 months to 12 years. I have a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, as well as being trained in Paediatric First Aid and I have a Level 2 Food Hygiene. I really enjoy working with children, sharing stories and being creative.
